Ms. Masuko Unayama of SyuRo designs everyday items with craftsmanship and plans many original products. She founded SyuRo in 1999. The store opened in 2008 in Torigoe, Tokyo, where old small factories still exist.

SyuRo's tin containers are meticulously crafted by artisans, one by one. These handcrafted cans have a distinct presence, atmosphere, and charm that sets them apart from machine-made cans.

Bare tin will change with use as it absorbs oil from the palm of your hand, allowing you to enjoy the "progress" of use. Eventually, it will become an antique. You can enjoy the distinct feel of metal, which is different from paper or plastic materials. Comes with an inner lid that is perfect for storing tea leaves, coffee, and spices.
