D&DEPARTMENT's original rectangular tray is made in Hokkaido Higashi-kaguramachi district, which is adjacent to Asahikawa and known for its wooden crafts. Uses woodworking techniques that join wooden pieces perfectly so that the joints are obscure. Made from black cherry that ages beautifully with time and finished with a paint that prevents ring stains to assure a long period of use.
